The retailer has appointed a new executive management team and is ready to present its new strategy in 2020. The new team is led by CEO Jared Margolis, who previously served as chairman of CAA-GBG, the world’s largest licensing agency, as well as a joint venture combining accessories, shoe and clothing companies Global Brands Group, and Creative Artists Agency, a leading entertainment and entertainment agency. Payless sports in Latin America, the Company’s largest current business unit, will be led by Justo Fuentes, CEO of LATAM.  Fuentes previously served as president of BATA in Latin America, where he led the region with more than 1,000 retail stores, e-commerce, catalogs, wholesaling, and manufacturing. The company emerged from bankruptcy with an existing global retail presence spanning Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. In these territories, Payless and its franchisees together own and operate more than 710 brick and mortar doors in more than thirty countries. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to take this iconic retail brand to a new strategic stage with a strengthened balance and clear financial perspectives.
