The free basic membership allows caregivers to see caregivers, share their needs, post vacancies, and receive applications. However, you will not be able to view apps or send messages to caregivers unless you switch to a paid Premium membership. Paid Premium Membership allows caregivers to access applications received by their workplace and to contact caregivers.
Remove my credit card information from an account
Care.com forwards all credit card numbers you receive from members to our credit card processor to verify and process payments. As soon as our processor verifies the credit card information, we will remove the credit card number from our database (except for the last 4 digits). This removal generally occurs within a few days of receipt of your credit card. Consequently, we only store your credit card number (except the last 4 digits) for several days. If you first tried to pay with your card, and if you were asked to correct certain information or to indicate it incorrectly, your card will be rejected. This deviation may appear as a deferred payment on your bank statement or credit card statement. Pending payments you see as a result of declining a card will not be converted to actual payments. Generally, within one to three business days, you will notice that the “pending payment” you see will be removed from your request.
