About music123

While true, few people realize that music123.com was the result of a 75-year-old family business spanning four generations. He was one of the leading instructors in the field of zither and carved instruments. After World War I in 1923, he and his son Sofian moved to the United States. Sophian completed her three-year training as a violin producer in Germany, making it ideal for her first job in that country as a violin repairman at Sears. In 1928, the family dream came true when the first Zapf music store opened in Philadelphia. It was a modest institution specialized in lessons and repair of strings and carved instruments. The first retail sales were made by Sofian Zapf violins. joined the company in 1938, he used his extensive knowledge of musical instruments and repair skills to expand his business on wind and wind instruments. In the following years, the store acquired many leading instrument brands, and the music publishing department and educational institutions expanded. But more than anything, Zapf’s desire for quality products and services at competitive prices encouraged customers to return again and again. In the 1950s, it was difficult to meet a musician in Philadelphia who didn’t have at least a story about the influence of Zapf’s music on his music ventures. Sophian’s son Eric joined the company in 1964 to become the third generation in Zapf music. As the musical climate changed, Eric influenced the expansion of the product range to include guitars, amps, drums, and other rock and roll equipment. Eric and his wife Susan also focused their attention on the school’s music programs, introducing instrumental rentals in many of the district’s major school districts. The next decade was also marked by the expansion of retail trade. Stores opened in Jenkintown and Norristown, Pennsylvania, as well as in Pennsauken, New Jersey. In addition to a wide range of products for everyone from novice musicians to professionals, the stores also taught more than 800 students per week. In 1992, Eric and Susan’s son Rich Zapf entered the business, making it a four-generation family business. Soon followed by his brother Steve, an internet and management consultant. Together, the brothers had a vision to expand a successful family-owned online retail business. In 1999, Zapf music123.com was launched with more than 10,000 well-known brand products. Easy navigation and cool features (including product reviews) combined with low prices made the site an instant hit.
