What does a VPN do?
Usually when you try to access a website on the Internet, you start by connecting to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). They redirect you to any website (or other online resources) you want to visit. All of your internet traffic passes through your internet provider’s servers, which means they can see and record everything you do online. They can even share their visit history with advertisers, government agencies, and other third parties. It redirects your internet traffic through a specially configured remote server. In this way, the VPN hides your IP address and encrypts all the data it sends or receives. Encrypted data does not make sense to everyone who intercepts it, it is impossible to read it.
Secure internet connection
Consider a public Wi-Fi network, perhaps at an airport or coffee shop. Usually you connect without hesitation, but do you know who can monitor network traffic? Can you be sure that the access point is legal? Could you be identified by a criminal looking for your personal information? Think of passwords, bank details, credit card numbers, and any other personal information you send each time you access the Internet. When the VPN is turned on, all sent and received data is transmitted through an encrypted tunnel so that no one can receive your personal information. This means that even if the cyber criminal somehow manages to intercept your data, you will not be able to decrypt it.
